There is a huge role for the collaborative approach to fill and since there is an urgent need to improve students performance and achievement, there is need to urgently look at ways to facilitate the family- school relationship. The Institute for Work and Family Integration (IWFI) in trying to bridge this gap organizes the Executive Teachers Program (ETP) to help educate both the teachers and Parents on how this collaboration will yield the outcome that both groups desire. The Institute recently graduated
the 2017/18 batch of the Executive Teachers Program.
Speaking at the event, The Chairman, Rt. Hon. Charles A. Osezua KSG OON congratulated the graduands, who were ready to change the way of learning, and admonished them to use the skills they have acquired to offer holistic education to the students, training them in both morals and academics in collaboration with their parents so that they can realize the dream of having successful children and great leaders of tomorrow.
