Executive Teachers Program on Integral Student Education
The Executive Teachers Program on Integral Student Education, is a personalized, Student-centered education, dealing with the anthropology of the child in relation to his particular environment through a collaborative process between the school and the home with the teacher as the mentor.
The aim is to equip Teachers and School Administrators on how to engage parents to better participate in the upbringing of their children and ensure that what is taught in school is not undone at home.
Research demonstrated that Schools with Integral Education achieve improved educational outcomes building self-esteem thereby producing well educated youths. Teachers from such schools better understand cognitive development in Students, understand each child’s character and personality, easily identify and resolve common developmental problems in young people and learning difficulties and the dignity of the Human person.
Since inception, the Executive Teachers Program has been delivered to School Administrators and Teachers representing various schools and organisations.
Objectives of the Program
This program is aimed at equipping the teacher with the requisite Knowledge that:
- Enables him help the parents understand their responsibilities to their child as the first and
- Helps the teacher to know the child so he is able to adequately educate the child both
- Allows him, the teacher, to carry out an environmental analysis of the child’s influencing
- Helps the teacher engage the parents in a more collaborative manner.
All these put together, help prepare the child holistically to be able to play on the world stage as a well formed leader.

The course is delivered within a period of nine months of three intensive weeks.
A small class size of maximum of 30 is maintained to ensure close class attention and foster individual learning.
A joint certificate will be issued by the Institute for Work and Family Integration (IWFI) and Lagos Business School (LBS).
The course is specifically designed for Teachers, School Administrators, Parents, Guidance Counselors, Staff and Facilitators of family-related NGOs, Parents, Policy Makers and Marriage Councellors.
After the Executive Teachers Program (ETP) training, there will be a one day follow-up class held quarterly, to ensure effective implementation of what has been learnt in the program. During this period, the facilitators of the program will be available for consultation. A day will also be scheduled for presentation to the Parents Teachers Association to address effective implementation of the collaboration between the parents and the schools.
